Special Edition
With the poor form which has haunted the Big Boys team temporarily suspended with a tight win over Dunbarton, I suggest they resort to mind games for future fixtures and I propose their own Hakka something similar to that which the All Blacks use before the start of a game. Get them into a 4 x 4 formation in the pre match warm up and advance on the opposition crouching, throwing alternate forehand and back hand “ air bowls” and chanting at the same time
Aka Laka Ching, Aka Laka Chow
Aka Laka Ching Ching Chow Chow Chow
Boomerlacka, Boomerlacka Sis Boom Ba
Go Falls Go Falls Ra Ra Ra
Rigga Jigga Rigga Jigga Rigga Rigga Ro
Go Falls Go Falls Go Go Go!
( Say it a couple of times until you get the rhythm )
The Ladies could act as Cheerleaders and swing their pom poms on the side of the pitch. The combination of our top men advancing down the sward with wide eyes rolling and tongues out will either frighten the opposition to death, or they will not be able to play for laughing.
Having been asked to cut back on my serial demolition of the Sandwichmeister, it gives me great pleasure to honestly say congratulations to the Liam Twins – Laughran and Trainor – for a stonking display for the B team against Dunbarton. A joy to watch you guys although I still have a few goodies to deliver against Mr.Trainor – watch this space!!
And also nice to see the return of the post match master classes by the aforesaid Mr. Laughran. His in depth analysis of how well he played and what his teammates could do to improve their games was top drawer. It was just a pity they were not around to hear it. I’m sure they would have something to say to him!
Congratulations also to the Midweek Team – another win on a difficult green. Lads, the camaraderie is huge in the dressing room and across the green. There was a real buzz in/on both places. Let’s keep it up!
The amazing adventures of "Two Floods" Walsh has been put on hold until the next edition
Until the next smooth delivery
